Specific altcoins — WhiteBIT Coin (WBT), Hyperliquid (HYPE), and Venice Token (VVV) — all established fresh all-time highs (ATH) between September 21 and 23. Entering the weekend, each token currently trades between 4% and 12% under those peak levels.
Following the breaking of their previous records, WBT and HYPE make a return to the list. Nevertheless, bearish RSI divergence visible across all three charts points to the possibility that pushing higher may prove challenging.
WBT Sits 4.7% Below Its Record
Back in late August, WBT broke out past the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement situated at $62.48, subsequently advancing toward a prior peak around $75.
Beginning September 7, the token extended its upward movement inside an ascending parallel channel. Price action eventually hit the initial target at the 1.272 Fibonacci extension near $84, establishing a new record high of $87.99.
Since then, WBT has retreated back to that same target level, which now coincides with the lower boundary of the channel. A potential bounce could clear the path toward the 1.618 extension located at $95.37, representing an increase of roughly 13.5%.
At the same time, trading volume is declining while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has cooled down to 67, alongside the emergence of early bearish divergence. Should a channel breakdown occur, WBT might slip back down toward $75, which is roughly 11% lower.
HYPE Needs 6.1% for a New Peak
HYPE has successfully hit its first target at the 1.272 Fibonacci extension of $92.37. The subsequent target is positioned at the 1.618 extension near $111.93, sitting about 21% higher.
Even so, the chart highlights a prominent bearish divergence. The RSI hit a peak of 82 on August 23 when HYPE changed hands near $82.50, whereas the price has since risen above $92 while the RSI drifted downward to 63.
This discrepancy indicates that buying enthusiasm is losing steam. A market correction could initially prompt a retest of the former ATH around $77, resting roughly 17% beneath the present price.
Further down, an ascending trendline extending from late January provides support near $61, while the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement at $55.41 creates a deeper zone of support confluence.
VVV Faces the Longest Climb to a Record
To recapture its record high of $34.61, VVV requires an 11.7% upward move. With the RSI resting at 68, the overall bullish structure remains intact.
The initial objective stands at the 1.272 Fibonacci extension of $36.76, which is approximately 19% above current pricing. Reaching that level would simultaneously establish a new ATH, while the subsequent target rests at the 1.618 extension close to $46.26.
On the flip side, the previous record of $29.29 is expected to function as support. Should that level give way, the high from June 3 near $21.47 serves as another robust support confluence.
In summary, WBT maintains the shortest journey toward a fresh record. HYPE displays the most distinct warning signals, whereas VVV presents the highest potential upside alongside the steepest climb.
