The service brings NFT names and gaming achievements together in a public blockchain profile, with rewards that stay with the name when it moves to another wallet.

Gaming platform @games announces the launch of Games Names, a decentralized naming service on the TON blockchain for its own games and partner projects. Each @user-style name is minted as an NFT that its owner can hold, transfer or sell. Names start at 1 GRAM and require no renewal.

Each name forms the foundation of a shared gaming profile designed to collect achievements across multiple games. The link between a name and its achievements is recorded on the blockchain, allowing its gaming history to move with it to a new wallet.

Building a Gaming History with SBTs

Games in the @games ecosystem and partner projects will be able to issue soulbound tokens (SBTs) to a name. These non-transferable NFTs will record victories, participation in rare events and other achievements. Users will be able to share a public profile link so others can view their name and collected rewards.

Games Names uses a different approach to attaching SBTs. When tokens are bound directly to a wallet address, achievements remain at that address. Moving to another wallet does not move those achievements, and losing access to the original wallet means losing control of the associated profile.

In Games Names, rewards are bound to the NFT name. This keeps achievements together as a continuous history that the owner can transfer along with the name.

A Profile That Moves as a Whole

When a name is transferred to another wallet, all associated rewards stay with it. If the name is sold, the buyer receives its accumulated history as well. Individual achievements cannot be transferred or sold separately.

This structure preserves the profile as a whole: the name serves as its persistent identifier, while SBTs record gaming milestones. The profile reflects the history of the name itself, including achievements earned before a change of ownership.

An Art. Lebedev Studio Logo and a $125,000 Name

The @games platform logo was designed by Art. Lebedev Studio and is featured in the studio’s official portfolio.

The @games name was acquired for $125,000. The purchase transaction is available on the TON blockchain explorer.

Users can mint a gaming name through @games on Telegram or at id.game.

    About the @games Ecosystem

@games is a global gaming platform being developed around the Telegram ecosystem. Its roadmap brings together Games Names, player profiles with decentralized achievements, first-party and partner games, a game directory and player rankings.

Games Names is intended to underpin a shared gaming identity across the platform, enabling users to discover games, play under one name and collect achievements in a single profile as the ecosystem develops.
